This amazing trek will take you to a site of the Oscar Nominated documentary movie “Caravan”. Dolpo is remote region of Nepal and the focal point of this area is Shey Phoksumdo National Park. The east and south of it is bordered by the Dhaulagiri and Churen Himal ranges and to the west by Jumla district. Trekking to Lower Dolpo proffers you the remarkable and worthwhile experience of lifetime. The noteworthy figure seen here are immaculate snowy peaks, ancient and isolated villages, rich wildlife, reliable Buddhist monastery and wonderful lakes. Day 1: Arrival day in Kathmandu (4,264 ft)
Day 2: Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trek preparation
Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj & transfer to Hotel
Day 4: Fly from Nepalgunj to Jhupal (Dolpo) (7,610 ft) and trek to Dunai 9,348 ft: 2-3 hrs walk
Day 5: Trek to Tarako (8,341 ft): 5-6 hrs walk
Day 6: Trek to Laini (10,365 ft): 6-7 hrs walk
Day 7: Trek to Nawarpani (11,627 ft): 5 hrs walk
Day 8: Trek to Do Tarap (13,415 ft): 7-8 hrs walk
Day 9: Rest Day at Do Tarap for acclimatization
Day 10: Trek to Numa La Base Camp (14,563 ft): 6-7 hrs walk
Day 11: Cross Numa La (17,023 ft), and camp at Pelung Tang (14,645 ft): 6-7 hrs walk
Day 12: Cross Baga La (16,630 ft) and camp Dajok Tang (13,382 ft): 6 hrs
Day 13: Trek to Ringmo (11,808 ft): 3-4 hrs walk
Day 14: Rest Day at Ringmo for a hike to Phoksundo Lake
